Well I think this is the hard part for me and that is to tell you about myself in four thousand characters or less. Lol! First of all my friends would say that I am very easy going and would like to see everyone happy whether it be with friends on a canoe trip or at a family gathering or just you and I on weekend excursion. Honesty in life is so important. I spent a large part of my life not being very honest with myself and four years ago made some life altering decisions.
I take great pride in taking care of my home and my yard. I love to plant all kinds of different annuals and perennials and probably had as many failures as successes, but I keep going back to the nurseries every spring and try try again. It was very aggravating last summer with our drought. A few very large water bills. The drought was very humbling though about how much power nature has over us.
What I am looking for in a potential partner is someone who is not scared to tell me what they are feeling whether it is good or very upsetting. Communication is key to me in any relationship, but at the same time we have to know when to let it roll off our back. I think that is the saying. Life is short, but life can also be good. I guess it is up to you what you do with it! I was married once, but it has been several years ago. I always wanted children it just didn't turn out that way.
Last of all my work schedule is not always a Monday thru Friday schedule. I am mainly on days, but have to cover for other people when they are on vacation. We have been short staffed for almost three years now for one reason or another and all of those hours have to be absorbed by the rest of the men I work with in the form of overtime. I am an operator for a large company in N. Kansas City. I have been with them for ten years.
I do not consider myself to be very religious, but I do get up every morning and do a gratitude list and be thankful for the things that I do have. Appreciation of other people and acknowledgement of there good deeds is important also.
