So I’m going to try and cut out the fluff and the BS.
I’m blunt and to some extent polarizing. People tend to really like me or really dislike me. I never sugar coat anything. I’m selfish and I like to have things done my way. I speak my mind and I feel like if everyone did so the world would be a lot simpler. If I ask someone whats the matter and they say nothing then I carry on as if nothing is wrong. I don’t want to look for hidden meaning of responses or play games.
I’m Scottish, I speak English as a first language but with a brogue. I can adapt to most situations and have a good time but I tend to be more of a guys guy so while dinner and drinks at a nice restaurant are good every once in a while, I’m more of a beer and wings kind of guy. I make fun of vegetarians, vegans, hippies and pretentious people, mostly because I feel those types look down their noses at others while playing on their macbook/iphone. There are a few other categories of people I make fun of also.
I am pretty funny or so I’ve been told. The accent helps but I like to have an answer for everything. Sarcasm is always on the menu and if someone says something stupid rest assured they’ll hear about it.
I have just reread what is above and I probably sound like a Pr*ck to some people but I believe in honesty so I’m being honest. I’d rather be hated for what I am than loved for what I am not. I'm not shallow but I believe in physical and emotional connections and I think that both are important for any relationship.
I work with kids and run an organization for 600 youth athletes. Most of my energy, time and effort goes in to helping and developing the kids I work with. They mean a lot to me and my time is limited so I am not interested in wasting time trying to force something. I believe that you know after a few hours together if something can work out.
