I'm new to San Diego and anxious to explore my new surroundings. I'm originally from Riverside, California, but in the last 10 years I have lived in Santa Barbara and Santa Monica which are two of the most beautiful places in California. I recently moved from Sacramento to beautiful San Diego. I am happy to be near the beach once again.
I've been through a lot of changes in the last few years, having moved around, gone to grad school, and now I'm here. I recently finished my graduate degree in public policy.
I've matured a lot in the last several years. I'm really coming into my own. I believe that all of my experiences are worthwhile and I have no regrets because I have either learned from all of them or there is a lesson waiting to be discovered and I'll get there in due time. I am very blessed to have such a great family and a great group of friends. I tend to be private but once I get to know people, they really see the silly side of me come out as I feel more comfortable with them.
People often describe me as being very easy to talk to and remark that I always have a smile on my face. I'm an eternal optimist, so I suppose there's no reason in going through life with a frown because everything's going to be okay in the end, right? Smile! I consider myself to be very reflective in nature, thus I must often write my thoughts out in a journal just to keep myself sane :) Running and training to run marathons also aids in my reflective process because running helps me to clear my mind as well as to challenge myself physically.
My closest friends would describe me as being loyal, respectful, fun, and spontaneous. I strive to do right by people and in every situation. It is very important to me to be honest to myself and to others. I expect the same of others.
I am in search of that special guy who is interested in a serious relationship and is looking for something lasting. He must be honest, empathetic, ambitious, loves to have fun and to laugh, and who is an overall genuine person. I am also very affectionate and loving, so my ideal match would possess those qualities. I look forward to meeting you!
