What do Michelle Pfeiffer, Calista Flockhart and most recently, Christy Turlington, have in common? I have been told that I look like these celebrities, whether I am at work or at the gym. I never knew...but, I just say thank you and I take it as a compliment. :)
I have a down-to-earth personality, have no problem meeting new people and I am outgoing in most respects. I have a glass is half full outlook and I truly appreciate all of the good things in my life: my kids and family, friends, health, and career. I have a quick witted sense of humor and don't take myself too seriously. I like to spend time with friends and family and being active; I am always up to trying new things (take a look at my pics!). I am athletic: I like sports; I make time to go to the gym at least three times a week and try to live a healthy lifestyle, but it doesn't consume me. I fit into most situations, will roll up my sleeves or get down and dirty to get a job done (I am not concerned about my manicured nails). On the flip side, I attend formal events in a little black dress and have a professional career which I enjoy. I do home improvement projects/repairs around the house and enjoy the sense of accomplishment. I strive to move forward personally and professionally. I sometimes come across as serious and conservative, but I can be silly and playful. I guess it depends on the situation. I am an outgoing person, but don't like the center of attention.
What am I looking for? Most importantly, a man with a good sense of humor, who can make me laugh and laughs at himself. A true gentleman, who knows how to treat a lady (I believe in chivalry). Active and fit, fun and fun loving, extraverted and energetic. Responsible, trustworthy, honest, and confident. Commonality is necessary, but so are differences. Even though I may not like the center of attention, I like a guy who is outgoing and doesn't mind the center of attention (in a good way).
Chemistry is very important and tough to explain; I know it when I feel it.
