I am generally curious. There aren't many things that don't interest me and my curiosity generally keeps conversations flowing - if we can't talk, then either we must not get along or you must be boring :P Kind of funny since the whole point of talking is to know someone so that you don't have to talk so much to understand. "If I just lay here- Would you lie with me and just forget the world" - Chasing Cars, a great song.
As for the "where have I been" - I was born and raised abroad (original Gangnam style), came to Houston in middle school, moved to east coast for college, moved to west coast then Shanghai for jobs, and just came back - and have lived in Madrid, Seoul, Beijing, and Boracay in between. Boracay? It's paradise on earth :)
Are you the type of person who can eat at a restaurant by himself? I am, and I do - if the food's good and I'm hungry, I'm known to order the appetizer AND the entree. Then the sommelier comes over and keeps me company, or something like that. And I like walks along the beach. Flirting with the shoreline and playing tag with the waves. Walks in gardens. Spontaneous hide-and-go-seek. Walks at dawn. Walks at dusk. Marathons inside museums, arboretums, planetariums. Catch me a star. Hide some in my eyes. Ever lay below the Milky Way on a winter night in blankets? Fallen asleep on roadside concrete watching the sun rise? Cuddled with books on a rainy day? Screamed at the TV cheering on your favorite athlete? Discussed a book on a trip to the grocery store? Felt like a pirate coming upon treasure at finding a good ale in the beer section? - Every moment breathed is a miracle, and more so in company of some than others. I don't need you - but if you're someone with whom I am the best of whom I can be, and vice versa, I want to be with you.
I do not have a subsc at this site but read on and you can email me... figure it out :)

I love dancing, not just b/c it feels good but also b/c it brings out a part of me that is usually latent beneath the all-business exterior. I generally don't drink at clubs for that reason - already high :) - but I like wine, esp. Margaux and PN, and my poison of choice is Laphroaig paired with chili Lindt. I hate preset notions of good and bad; naughty and nice aren't always mutually exclusive. I also believe in respect, especially for elders and teachers, although we’re sadly losing that quickly.
I cringe every time I see someone that writes "Someone perfect for me is blah blah blah"... c'mon, no one's perfect, and no one should fit to you perfectly either (discussions of huggability excluded) if s/he has worthy traits of own. But "picture perfect" IS a creative process of giving in a little here, breaking a little there.
Practically (for you) speaking, I have a soft spot for people who enjoy reading. I don’t think enough guys realize how hot they look when they are reading. I always check out people's books at cafes ;) I can also pick out engineers. I couldn’t program to save my life but I am fascinated by startups. (And guns, but that's another story.) Engineers tend to fulfill my nerd fetish in spades, but nerds are in every field *shrug* In general, I like open-minded people that think outside the box and make rational decisions but also enjoy having fun. I find it hot when people work hard to become better at whatever it is that they enjoy and appreciate, be it engineering, investing, med, non-profit, creative arts, etc… or law? (haha do I have stories on lawyers.) That said, I'm not looking to settle down right now so if you are, please understand that we'll be on different pages.
N. B.: I will have to earn your respect but I expect politeness. And table manners. Show me your world, not your half-chewed food. If you like what you see, write staCrhee at my yodeling inbox!
