I’m going to out on a limb here and guess that at some point in your life, you swore that you would never join a “dating” website. C’mon, admit it! I can honestly say that I did. Yet, here we both are; you reading a profile that I created in an attempt to meet someone new. Why is that? Well, I have given it some thought, and chances are that most people are using the website for one of the two following reasons: 1) They have no interest in meeting people in a bar/club environment. 2) They are new to the area and are simply looking to meet some new people. A real thorough analysis, I know. Haha
Personally, I fall into both categories. After I moved home from Phoenix, Arizona, last year, I came to the realization that meeting new people in a bar/club environment didn’t suit me very well. I also realized that after spending time primarily with close friends and family, it was far too easy to stay within these familiar circles and not meet new people. If you ask me (you’re reading my profile, so I’m assuming that you did), there is more to life than striving for a constant state of comfort. Hence, here I am.
I enjoy a night out on the town as much as I do a night staying in. I love playing/watching sports, cooking (I’m Italian; I think I’m legally obligated to enjoy this activity under penalty of family excommunication – haha), and trying new things. I’m also a huge movie fan, so the suggestion of watching a movie is never a bad idea around me. Since I’m a big believer in physical fitness, my ideal match should feel the same way. Lastly, I’m a sarcastic person that loves to joke around, so I definitely am attracted to a woman that can not only take a joke, but give me a taste of my own medicine.
