First and foremost I love to spend time with genuine people, have intellectual conversations with anyone, laugh, play every type of sport but my favorites are hockey and lacrosse, enjoy time with my cat, read philosophy, a good book, go to the beach and volunteer! I like to chill at the beach, starbucks, barnes and noble, or anyplace I can hang out with people who are important to me. I really like to listen to old-school hip-hop like tribe called quest, jam bands like phish and the grateful dead, electronic like radiohead and daft punk, and trance/house like mark farina, oakenfold, and paul van dyk. I am currently just moved to LA and am a teacher who is currently working with my brother's business. I am taking a break from teaching for a year and am planning on going to get my masters and eventually my PhD in educational reform. I most recently worked for the past 4 years in the Miami-Dade public school system, at an inner-city school because I feel that's where I can have the most impact on the students. I LOVE kids, I was a lifeguard/swim instructor for 7 years. My ideal match is a girl who can carry on a fun, smart and laid back conversation! I love to talk, and am a giver. I am a hopeless romantic, so if you like flowers, and surprises while at the same time getting an honest, and caring man, that's me.
