About me...Awesome about sums it up!! (Kidding) As you can probably tell, I have a sense of humour, I am well educated, well traveled and independent. I grew up in Kentucky and moved out to California after college. I lived in Mission Beach (San Diego) in my l20's and had an absolute blast! I lived across from the bay and rollerbladed, biked, hiked, boogie boarded and just generally had a great time. I moved up to Sacramento in my 30's and enjoyed Northern California immensely How can you not like having Napa, San Francisco and Tahoe in your back yard?? I still ski but had to hang up the rollerblades after breaking my wrist. It a bummer that the older you get the more breakable you get!
I moved out here 3 years ago and have to say that I am still adjusting to the intensity of this area. I still have my beach cruiser and make it a point to ride it up to the grocery store in Fairfax Station! I also still have my convertible bug and love driving around on nice days and out to the beach.
I have an 8 year old son who is absolutely wonderful and a good athlete. We have a dog, a cat and hamster. My son would turn the house and yard in to a zoo if he could!
I care deeply for my family, friends and pets. I feel that I have been blessed with health, happiness and a wonderful life. I try to be a good communicator and need that in a partner. I have been divorced for less than a year and would love to meet a great guy. I am looking forward to getting dressed up and going out to dinners, movies, dancing, broadway plays and traveling. I am also looking forward to popping popcorn and kicking back on the sofa and watching movies together too. I have a wide variety of interests and am just as comfortable dressed up as I am in sweatpants kicking back on the sofa. I tend to be more of a warm weather girl and you will find me vacationing more at the beach than you will in the mountains.
What I am looking for...tall, dark and handsome with a great personality!! If you have a white horse that you can ride up to my house on that would be even better! Seriously, I am looking for a man that is honest, caring, confident, secure and fun to be with. I am looking for a guy that has his own friends and a life. I have a great set of friends and enjoy doing things with them I am looking for a guy that can go out to dinner and the movies but also can throw on jeans and doesn't mind doing things around the house. A big bonus would be if you could play tennis and/or golf. Have played both since I was 6. I still play competitive tennis.
To summarise this long narrative, if you are a great guy that enjoys animals, sports, having fun, traveling, doing things around the house and snuggling on the sofa for movie night, then I might be your girl. :-)
