Why do my friends call me "Sparkle"? They say I don't need the fancy sparkles to shine in a room, because my personality does that for me :-). I have a variety of interests that I invest my time in and love to share them with others. I value my friendships and family; most say I have a huge heart. I moved back to the Bay Area originally to help my family-- that is how strong my commitment is to them. I always try to smile, even if it's a little one on the toughest day. I traveled a rough road to get to where I am now. The best part is how much I have enjoyed along this road and how everything keeps looking up!
Most of my time outside of work bounces between dancing (salsa/latin styles), rock climbing, and running AND balancing fun times with my friends who may not do any of the above! I have taken each hobby seriously at one point... I was training with a coach for a few months and performed on her team; I tried top-roping and bouldering outdoors (and have my own equipment); I will run my first half-marathon in January 2013, and plan on doing more. I am a very passionate person, and once I find something worth trying, I give it my 100% (this includes relationships/friendships).
Just checking match.com out to see what's out there. I'm getting my feet wet in the online-dating scene again. Eventually (but not too soon too quick!) I'd like to develop a meaningful relationship with someone with common interests, is willing to explore more, and is a lot of fun! If things don't work out, I hope we would have a friendship to fall back on.
