I was born and raised in LA and I currently work in finance and budgeting. My job is very demanding and I work long hours so I don’t have many opportunities to meet people outside of work. I also live with a one and half year old golden retriever and when I am not working I am spending time with her…she is the joy of my life. Being from Southern California, it is a given that I love the beach and I go every weekend. I also love to travel and explore other cities and cultures…one of my biggest regrets is not having the opportunity to live in a different city or country for a few years. Among my favorite travel destinations are Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Miami, SF, NYC, Hong Kong, Koh Yao (Thailand), Costa Rica. I have to admit that I have never traveled south of the Equator and that is one of my goals for the year. I live a very healthy and active lifestyle. I love to surf and paddleboard (but I’m not really good) and I tend to run a half marathon every other month it seems. I was raised in a Christian family and my faith is very important to me and I am looking for someone who also shares the faith. I am far from perfect but through the grace of God I am saved and forgiven. I have deep compassion and mercy for the poor, sick, marginalized, and those in suffering. I believe I can change the world and make it a better place. I am a terrible liar and can sometimes be too honest. I am the product of immigrant parents who taught me the value of money and instilled in me a hard work ethic and because of them I have been working since I was 19 years old. Family and friends mean the world to me and I would not be who I am today without them.
The girl I am looking for is secure with who she is and is comfortable just being herself (a girl who doesn’t need to don the five inch stilettos to go to the grocery store). She shares many of the same values and is generous with her time and resources. The sight of injustice, inequality, or suffering should move her to action. She should always put the needs of others before herself and she is kind and considerate to strangers. She also loves to travel, try new things, and is not afraid to go outside her comfort zone. A girl who is active, loves sports, and has Lakers Season Tickets is also a plus but not a requirement. Lastly, she must love the Lord and strive each day to be a better person.
