Originally from San Diego, I came to Washington D.C. to attend graduate school six years ago and decided to stay a bit longer. Getting lost in museums with friends, kicking a soccer ball on the mall, and hiking local trails has kept me busy so far. I want to try white water rafting in West Virginia, go camping in the Shenandoah Mountains, and continue exploring the east coast. I do not shy away from discussions about politics, world events, history, and religion; but I am just as comfortable talking about the latest episode of Game of Thrones or my favorite football team.
I grew up in a climate that did not have four seasons, so the spring cherry blossoms and fall foliage have been a welcomed change. I embrace a fine balance between being active outside and having time to relax inside after a long week at work. I need someone to keep up with me and also help me stop and smell the flowers. I have no room for drama in my life.
