Well I'm a Southern/West Indian lady that loves to laugh, cook, travel and anything Carnival. I'm originally from the Virgin Islands but spent high school and college in Florida. I've spent most of the past five years in GA working as a Food Engineer for a food processing company. I've recently accepted a new job opportunity in VA.
I'm easily amused and am a loud laugher so beware (lol). I love cooking large meals for my friends and family, especially Caribbean cuisine.
I try to get a stamp on my passport at least once a year. Most of the places I visit or plan to visit are known for there beaches. I definitely become a beach bum when I'm on vacation.
I participate in at least one Caribbean Carnival a year. Participation I these events have become very important to because it makes me feel more connected to my culture and just reminds me of HOME.
