I recently moved back to the Bay Area after being in the South Bay. Since I'm not into the bar scene and work on a college campus, I thought I'd use Match as a means of meeting people who I otherwise wouldn't have a chance to cross paths with. I have a tendency to make a bunch of new friends of whom I am fiercely loyal to but still am able to identify a few best friends who I know will be lifelong friends until we're old and gray (as they say). I love having dinner or taking a walk with friends to catch up. I also like to volunteer when I have the chance though I will have to identify new places to volunteer at in the east bay. My favorites have been Habitat for Humanity (volunteered in Santa Cruz and New Orleans) and Second Harvest Food Bank.
I am looking for someone who is ready to pursue a possible long-relationship. Work has been my focus for the past couple years but I'm ready to make it lower in priorities for the right person. I want to be able to have someone to wander the city with, check out museums, go to the zoo, watch movies, try restaurants, or poke fun at each other. Someone who I feel I trust enough to wholeheartedly confide in. Basically, I am looking for someone who can appreciate me for who I am. Who I know I can be myself around and not worry about being judged. If you can be sarcastic one minute but can be serious when the time calls for it, say hello!
