You gotta love trying to write about yourself. No-one wants to brag too much, but then you don't want to write too little so people don't know anything about you. Well, here goes... I'm 35 now and still single. Right now, I'm ok with my life, but it would be nice to share it with someone. For the most part I hang out with my friends and family, or just crash at home with my cat after work. (And really as much as I love my cat, it's not the best give and take relationship. I think I'm doing all the giving ;) My job can be pretty demanding physically at times so relaxing is nice. Sometimes it would be really nice if I could come home and relax with someone and we could compare our battle wounds for the day.
At this point in my life, I'm watching all my friends and people I grew up with find their mates, and get married and have babies, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm running out of time... Not saying I want to have a baby tomorrow, but I do eventually want to have kids. I'm at a very stable point in my life, I have a good job, own my own home, and things are pretty good. I'm just not exactly where I want to be yet. Like so many others I would like to have that other person to round out my life and make it a little more complete.
I definitely like to see the humor in life, and like making people laugh. I do feel however that I am a sensitive person and am sympathetic to others needs. I'm very close with my family and do lots of things with my parents and friends. Alright, enough about me. What I'm looking for in someone? Probably about the same thing everyone else is looking for. Definitely has to have a sense of humor. I love to laugh (and laugh loudly - why not enjoy it?) and to make others laugh. I can be goofy or sarcastic depending on my mood. I definitely want there to be chemistry although I don't think it has to be love at first sight. Compatibility would probably be a good idea, although we don't have to be exactly the same. I am on here to find something serious, although it doesn't necessarily have to lead to marriage. (Seriously guys - I pay for this service and am not into using it for a booty call! Please don't bother to contact me if this is your goal.)

I do believe in honesty and will expect the same from you. I'm not above making friends, although I am looking for something a little more serious. Above all, be honest about everything! I've had my fill of the hopeful starts, and then never getting a call back, or getting ditched! Just say what you mean, I'm a big girl and can handle the truth!! :)
One other thing about me - I love music and dancing!! Music can make me very happy and at times I will be dancing around the house (although my preference is to dance with others, I figure dance when you can!) Although my taste is very eclectic I have a little bit of everything (except maybe rap). I cannot live without my music!
