I'm originally a Louisiana girl, a cajun at heart. But Texas has become my home over the last ten years. People ask me ask me all the time if I miss the cajun food and they are suprised when I say "no", "I miss the Lebanese food." It's very popular in Louisiana and I haven't managed to find anything similar here. If you know of any Lebanese restaurants, please share.
My friends consider me to be a fiercely loyal, honest, sincere, caring, and a gentle soul. They tell me that I am fun to be around, that I know how to have a good time, and that sometimes I have a wicked sense of humor.
I am a mom to two kids, which keeps me pretty busy and thoroughly entertained. One of my favorite parts of the day is the drive home after I've picked them both up. We like to sing and dance (as much as you can in a car) to all kinds of music. My three year old has basically taken over what I am allowed to listen to in the car. And he actually has pretty good tastes in music (he gets that from me of course.)
My free time consists of hanging out with dear friends, office bowling league, attempting do-it-yourself projects, thrifting and antique shopping for mid-century/danish modern pieces, refinishing furniture, reupholstering furniture, watching movies, and listening to music. My musical tastes are all over the place. I'm a big LSU football fan. I can get a little rowdy during a game, which usually results in a "chill out mom" from my daughter.
What am I looking for? That's a hard one. You think you know, then that gets turned on its head. But what I do know is I want someone who is kind, considerate, confident, family oriented, honest, sincere, passionate, and a romantic. Someone who likes to try new things but doesn't mind an occassional night of sitting in front of the tube. In the end, I want to find someone who feels as I do, a relationship is a partnership, its 50/50.
