I have a difficult time talking about myself, but I feel pretty safe in saying that if my friends/family were to describe me they would say that I can be quiet and shy when just getting to know someone. I'm pretty down to earth and easy-going overall, but I do have a bit of a type-A side to me as well. Once I get to know someone, I tend to goof around and joke a lot...which is probably why I chose a job that allows me to work with kids all day. I love to laugh (often at myself). :)
I'm a huge fan of my family; it's probably the thing I'm most passionate about (college basketball is a close second though!). I am one of 4 children, and there is nothing better than when we are all able to spend time together. I love live concerts and sporting events, especially with a beer in hand! I'm happy being lazy at the beach all weekend or getting all dressed up and going out on the town. I've alway appreciated being active and outdoors, but during my drive across the country last year I really grew to love hiking, and I'm looking forward to doing lots of traveling and exploring now that I'm out on the west coast!
