I always say you can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl. I like to think I'm pretty well rounded. I am able to enjoy the best of both worlds- city & suburbia and the great outdoors. I enjoy being on the go and trying new things. I grew up in the country and I have a passion for fishing, camping, and I enjoy being outside as much as I can. Don't get me wrong, I have a girly girl side and enoy getting dressed up, but I think this is what is unique about me- that I have this balance.
I have a great career in Human Resources, and that job keeps me on my toes. I chose this career because it has every day challenges. No one day is ever the same as the next. I feel I can relate to just about anyone, and in this career you have to.
I'm so grateful for the wonderful family and friends I have. My grandfather is such an inspiration to me and I spend as much time with him as I can. I recently became an aunt and my new nephew has changed my world! I can't wait until he's old enough for me to take him places and do things with him! I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I've made some great friends over the past ten years and as you get older, you realize how important it is to have those friendships.
I'm looking for someone who shares some of the same interests I do, but who doesn't lose their own identity when in a relationship. I've come to realize this over the years, and it's very important to me to have that balance.
I love to laugh and it's important to me that someone can make me do that. I'm also looking for someone who is compassionate and respectful, not only with me, but with others.
I've never done this before, but with a busy career, it can be hard to meet someone. I enjoy going out, but am kind of over the weekend nightly bar scene. If nothing else, this is a great way to meet new people, and if I happen to meet "the one" on this journey, then so be it.
