Describe myself? Ok, here goes. Fun, caring and loyal (to a fault), giving, spontaneous, and sarcastic.
I've learned not to take myself too seriously, it's a waste of time. I've also learned that the best laid plans usually don't come to fruition. I believe that God laughs at us when we try to plan the future.
I have a good job that allows me to enjoy some of the better things in life. I don't need a man to support me or take care of me. However, I would like a man that wants to spoil me with his affections. I am confident, independent and passionate. I know what I want and I'm not afraid to ask for it.
I'm hoping to attract a man who is honest and not afraid to show his feelings and that I can share a mutual respect and passion with. I want to meet someone who shares my interests and values, someone to have fun times with. The ability to engage in stimulating conversation and the ability to make me laugh are two very important traits I'm looking for in a match. I can laugh at myself and I can laugh at you. My ideal first date does NOT include going over to your place and watching five hours of Ghost Hunters and making out on the couch. It does NOT consist of you coming to my place, me cooking for you and us making out on the couch. Nothing wrong with any of that, but that's not really first date content...at least not a first date that I'm interested in. It's really sad that I have to stipulate that in my profile... but if you're just a lump who likes to sit on the couch in the dark all the time, we won't have anything in common.
I'm recently divorced so I'm fairly new to the whole dating thing and NOT looking to jump right into a serious relationship...if it happens, it happens, but that's not my primary focus right now. I'm from Alabama so I have a deep southern drawl. This does not make me "stoopid"....it just makes me Southern. Being from Alabama means that I LOVE college football...War Eagle!! So if you don't enjoy watching football on Saturdays in the fall, then we're probably not going to get along...at least on certain Saturdays September through December.
