I am a Midwestern girl through and through, raised where you chat with the person behind you in line at the grocery store. I love people, plain and simple. I studied Psychology and Theology in college and used to explain that I love people and I love God, so what better majors could I have? I work for a non-profit and can honestly say that I found job that fulfills me and challenges me almost every day. I like to think I strike a good balance between my love of the color pink and marathoning girly TV shows, and my deep appreciation of a good beer while watching the game (preferably college basketball, though I recently joined a fantasy football league, so I'm not too picky). I feel it is only fair to warn you that I am nerdy and am prone to laughing at corny jokes. What else is there to know? I can't really mask what I am feeling and have found that this usually works out better for everyone. I love holidays, my golden retriever, and snow. My little brother is infinitely cooler than I am. I do not like when people see the movie before reading the book and I really hate driving around traffic circles/roundabouts/whatever you might call them. As disappointing as it is to my dad, I would be perpetually lost with google maps. I am looking for a good guy, as cheesy as that sounds--someone genuine, down-to-earth, and who knows how to laugh.
