Ideally and obviously, I would like to meet a nice girl out there. It seems to be a "tad" difficult to meet them through the "normal" channels of life. Where are y'all hiding? I am a very liberal and open minded individual. I like to do what I believe in. I like people who can express themselves - it makes for a lively conversation and saves me from being in the position of driving the conversation all the time. Communications are important to me. I also appreciate people who are uncomplicated. What I mean by this is people who appreciate things in life without a need for over-analysis, and basically, people who do not fret the small stuff. I like to be adventurous and try new things - it is nice when friends are adventurous enough to come along and keep company. I am pretty intelligent and always aim for the stars, so I figure I might get at least get a planet or two. I have lived the majority of my life thus far in Canada. This includes much time in the cool Canadian north, so I also have an appreciation for small town life, serenity, and a sense of community (not to mention, snow!). Having lived in cities as well, I can appreciate the nuances of both small towns and cities, including the very definite advantages and disadvantages of each. In more recent years, I have had the opportunity to experience living in the United States, primarily in some of the beautiful west coast cities like Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco. I am always interested in finding a suitable person via "conventional means", but alas, shooting in the dark in day to day life and expecting to "meet" somebody by sheer luck is somewhat impractical and could be considered wishful thinking. I think that the Internet is a powerful tool, allowing two people to make contact who might otherwise never, ever meet, virtually, or non. I value family life alot and think it plays and always will play an integral part of my life.
