ABC, grew up in California, survived public schooling in LA, and now 9-5ing in the aerospace industry. When I'm not working (gotta pay the bills), cleaning (stupid dust bunnies, one day I will find you!), or cooking (I swear it's edible...the charred part is for extra crunchiness), I spend my free time on a variety of activities.
These include "running" with my lazy shiba (running is relative, as we stop for every stranger, flower, discarded takeout menu, etc....), playing sports, watching movies, reading, and sometimes just couch potatoing at home.
I do love to travel and just returned from a fantastic trip to South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. I find learning foreign languages to be quite fun, and would love to find someone to practice my terribad Japanese , KDrama Korean, or mediocre Chinese on. If you've been anywhere fascinating in your own travels, I'd love to hear your stories!
I value respect, honesty, loyalty, and family. I suppose I'm a relatively shy and quiet guy (working on it!), but really do open up once I get to know someone (cliche, yes I know). I love to joke around with my friends and enjoy people who can hold their own in witty banter.
I'm on here in hopes of meeting someone to hold interesting conversations with and share in new and exciting activities; a partner in crime. Ideally, she would be someone able to laugh at herself and accept some silliness in the name of fun, but also be responsible and mature when appropriate. Someone who holds an adventurous spirit and is willing to give new things a try, but also happy to spend a night relaxing at home. If I were so lucky as to find such a person, I would do my utmost to win her heart.
But hey, let's take it easy and start out with a few messages. In my book, new friends are always welcome and I believe each and every person we meet can enrich our lives and teach us something :), so Carpe Diem!
