I love people. I love getting to know others and learning new things about myself in the process.
I am originally from Spring, Texas, but I have relocated quite a bit since I moved away back in high school.
I moved back to Colorado in 09', after being away for over 6 years. I love it here, and do not plan on leaving any time soon. I LOVE the mountains and being outdoors. It is hard for me to be inside when it is a pretty day..(and there are SO many in Denver!) However, I also enjoy watching movies and baking all day on rainy/cold days. ;-) Growing up in Texas and living in Arizona for the last few years has made me really appreciate the change of seasons.
I adore my friends and am really close to my family. I love going out to dinner, sitting on a nice patio with friends over cocktails and good food, going to the movies, and listening to live music. I don't have a musical bone in my body, but I love all types, and I am currently trying to learn how to play guitar online. (and it is SO not easy!) I also love the drums, and I have always wanted to be Shelia E. (maybe for just a week or two. ;-)

I love life, and I try to really live it. I feel incredibly lucky to have such genuine and unique people in mine, and I never hesitate to tell them that. I have learned that life is WAY too short, and you just never know if you will have the opportunity to again. I have been through some rough stuff, but, as cliche as it sounds, I truly believe things happen for a reason. (and I am a stronger and better person because of it. ;-)
Seize the day...My dad used to always say, "Saddle up!" It reminds me to get moving if I feel "stuck", follow through with my commitments, stand up for what I believe in, and enjoy life...If you wind up on the wrong trail, oh well..Learn from it and then pick a new one.
