I'm a Midwesterner who has been in SF for 5 years. I sometimes work long hours and like to decompress by drowning myself in some Netflix. I'll hit a happy hour during the week but any crazy late nights tend to land on (the infrequent) Friday or Saturday, because I'm getting old and need time to recover. I love road trips. I've driven about 13,000 miles around the country by myself over the past couple years. I get made fun of (a lot!) for the personality I have attached to my MINI. This mockery is balanced by an obvious hint of jealousy. I wish there were a highway across both oceans (not really but kind of). I'll do almost anything that involves going somewhere with a great view, experiencing a Frank Lloyd Wright space, or learning about something new. I love watching movies (see Netflix drowning above) and powering through a great TV show over a lazy weekend. My music taste is across the board, depending on my mood. I like a lot of old people music lately. I just learned that Tosca has a free jukebox full of this sort of music. I need to go there more often. I like to think that I'm handy around the house but the effectiveness my tape and twisty-tie fix on my trashcan lid may speak otherwise. Still, this is one area where I want a guy to let me think I wear the pants. Indulge me. Really, my main motivation for seeking a partner is just for the handling of rodents. I've convinced myself that living on the top floor of the building lessens the chance of seeing a mouse in my place. So far, so good, but when that day comes, I will be trapped, hopping from one piece of furniture to another, trying to get to my phone to call for help. My ideal match will either come to my rescue or be furniture-hopping with me and have a more rugged friend that he calls for such things. Like most human beings, I enjoy laughing and good conversation. I'm still confused why this fact needs to be called out but nevertheless... If you're well-equipped socially, think you can out-banter me, or just like buying a nice girl a drink, send me a message and let's talk/meet up. A wink won't get you anywhere... Look forward to hearing from you!
