So... Writing about myself isn't my idea of a great time, but here goes!
I'm from San Diego, but I've been a Texan for 16 out of 31 years. I'm a full-time graphic designer, part-time photographer and I bartended my way all the way through college, so I've heard my fair share of cheesy pick up lines... I'm sure they work on some girls, but messaging me with a "hey sexy" or a "so gorgeous" won't get you far with me! ;) Sorry!
I get out with friends occasionally, but I'm pretty over the bar scene. These days I'd rather either find something more FUN to do: concerts, art shows, river or lake trips, barbecuing or crawfish boils with friends and family (I can put away at least 10lbs, this girl was raised in a Cajun family!), also love outdoor toys: four-wheelers, dirt bikes, jet skis, tubing, art shows, renaissance festivals, road trips and lots of other stuff! I'm part workaholic/busy bee, but I fit plenty of fun in there too!
One of my favorite things to do: on one of those perfect, windy 75 degree days - it's Texas, so we only get a few of these a year - I do what any country-raised girl would do... Take a drive to Nowhereville with the windows down, hair flyin and the radio blaring, singing like a crazy person ;) oh, I'm also not afraid to let my nerdy side out!
I love to travel, although I don't get a lot of time to so when I do, I try to live it up. I just took my first Eurotrip in May and can't wait to get back to explore somewhere new!
As much as I love all the excitement, one of my favorite things to do is just laze around watching movies, crime shows or whatever. I watch football, but not by myself unless it’s a must-see game. I love going to games though, particularly football and hockey!
I love lots of music, but mostly rock, folk & country. I like a little rap, but mostly old nostalgic stuff before a lot of “music” turned to repetitive crap.
This is where I'm supposed to say what I'm looking for... Well if I knew who or what that was exactly, I'm thinking I wouldn't need to be on this site...
So here's what I do know...
--Someone sweet, but hilarious... One thing I can't stand is someone who's just mean for no reason. No bullies please! But I love being goofy with someone who makes me laugh whenever possible.
--Someone my age, or a little older... I've dated younger guys and that just hasn't worked for me. I keep getting messages from 22 year olds... That's adorable, but y'all are younger than my sister!
--Someone I can be myself around... I know what that means, but it isn't something you can describe, fake or force.
--And of course, no crazy stalker-types ;) Already experienced one of those via online dating so far.
The rest I'm leaving up to fate. This whole website thing wasn't my idea, but I'm gonna try to keep an open mind. I'm a take it slow kinda gal, I'm not going to message someone and then agree to meet them within a couple days. If we talk for at least a week, I'm pretty sure we might click and I'm pretty sure you aren't an ax-wheedling psycho, then I would consider meet for coffee or something and go from there. Ciao!
