First I would like to say that I do actually smile a lot despite what my photos depict. I just do not like taking photos.
Well I know it's a long shot...but how great would it be if my soul mate was hiding out here waiting to meet me?
I'm an independent, easy-going, funny, happy go lucky woman with somewhat odd combinations of opposites: strong-vulnerable, quiet-expressive, proud but humble.
I am refined but outdoorsy... I very much enjoy traveling wherever and whenever given the chance.

I have a solid Long Island upbringing... prep school (which afforded me the opportunity to be exposed to many cultures at an early age)...college… graduate program.
Very traditional values inside a modern exterior.

I am a special education teacher by profession and am very passionate about my career...but not to the exclusion of everything else.
As far as what I’m looking for?...well for me it's really all about the connection...a deep and meaningful connection. In a relationship, I believe that we both are individuals but yet as a "team" we work together. Communication and honesty is the key foundation to any relationship. I definitely believe that two are better than one ...(except I suppose when it comes to winning the lottery although I have no problem sharing).
Self-taught in many pursuits...and still trying to learning every day from everyone and everything I come in contact with....
As far as my personality goes...i believe in ‘rock-paper-scissors’ for settling disputes…and believe governments and politicians should use it as well....
Physically? A long and lean yoga body..."bendy"...skinny?

Don't care much for bars...unless i suppose it's on a beach somewhere... I rather spend my time at a nice restaurant enjoying a delicious glass of wine. I love taking a walk on the beach (day or night), going to the driving range (even though I am not especially good at it), enjoy kayaking, going sailing, boating, going wine tasting, listening to music, reading, going to Broadway plays and museums.
I've been told i have a 'sexy brain' and I am far from boring...I think that's good... (I think)
Oh and I almost forgot...I love to snuggle.
