Throw me in a room and I can get along with anyone -- most of the time whoever I'm speaking to ends up telling me their life story. I am a very social person and love people - learning about others and where they come from motivates me. I have a blast esp when it comes to salsa dancing. On the contrary, as my work often entails being around people and managing teams, there is also something about being in solitude and embracing the time spent alone. I enjoy and embrace the very simple things in life, which make me the happiest. I live my life being present, positive, conscious, grounded, and aware -- applying humility and gratitude in my daily life.
My closest friends describe me as honest, genuine, loyal, confident, fun, hard-working, and adventurous. They would also say that I have young spirit, but old soul. I believe that no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes, that includes myself. I love to travel, watch any kind of sports - although I would rather be watching it live, and any activities in the water. I am very open minded to other cultures and backgrounds. I am selective in who I surround myself -- positive, quality people. I enjoy taking care of myself, of those around me, and along with those who are less fortunate (I sit on several non-profit boards in the greater LA area). I wrote my honors thesis, and conducted research and published in Europe. After graduating, I went off and spent over 5 years in public service - I was a former congressional staffer. I was also one of the youngest executives leading a national non-profit.
I believe mutual chemistry and interest should be organic and effortless. I believe in being courted and treated with respect. I'm looking for a true, good, and genuine man who has earned his own way and right. Someone who has solid life experiences, shared commonalities, and has layers -- substance.
