Happy 2013! I am now standing at the foot of a new path: starting in February, I will be training to become a suicide hotline operator, to help others find strength and courage within themselves and a passion and purpose for their lives. And after the summer, I will be returning to college for a degree in human services, to become a substance abuse counselor... just the first step towards my hope of becoming a licensed therapist.
On top of all that, I am also a writer and director for the stage and screen; I started my own production company last year, have been getting decent exposure at theater festivals throughout Manhattan, will be producing and directing a full-length play this June, and am currently writing the screenplay for what will be my third film.
Childhood is an artform too, and I adore burrowing deep down into such childish antics as snowball fights and dressing up for Halloween. I have both a sharp wit and a goofy sense of humor, and am known to steal the spotlight and put on a show when the mood strikes. One minute I can be discussing important world issues or the arts, the next I’m doing a silly dance or pretending to trip over a chair.
About you: You will be just as supportive of my dreams as I will be of yours - and you do have them. You inspire me to grow, both as an artist and a person. You challenge me, and like to be challenged; who better to learn from than the person you're in a relationship with? You like to flirt in person or via text, public affection turns you on, and you're a big fan of puppy love; when I bring you a flower, you’re as giddy as a schoolgirl. Last but certainly not least, nothing makes me feel more special in a relationship than being a part of your life.
