I'm a normal guy for the most part. Even though I've switched career tracks, I'm still very much the geeky software engineer I was in my prior life. But I like to fancy myself to be well-adjusted; I like to smile, I love to laugh and I don't take too many things very seriously.
I enjoy simple pleasures, such as holding a warm cup of coffee under my nose, the crispness of the air in the early morning, and the peacefulness of the streets when the world is asleep. As a result, usually my preference for social gatherings are with a small group of good friends.
I used to think I knew what my ideal match is, but now I realize it probably doesn't make sense to pre-define what an ideal match is. What I mean is, of course there are some basic foundations that we all seek (honest, sincere, mature, etc.) But apart from that, what probably will define what is "ideal" are the idiosyncrasies that this other person brings with them.
