It is a good thing that I am as tall as I am because it allows for all of the different aspects of my life. My friends tell me the best part about me is that from when I wake up until I go to bed I am always smiling. I had to be the one person in my kindergarten class who, when told by our teacher that we could accomplish anything that we put our minds to, believed her- and that has stuck with me throughout my life.
I just graduated from FSU with a bachelors degree in Religion, and have moved to Palm Beach Gardens because I got a job in my field. As a religion major, I assumed I wouldn't find a job where I can make a lot of money, and I was right! But, I did find one where I can make a difference and that is all that matters to me.
I never know what to write when people want to know about my hobbies because I am usually up for anything. I can be just as happy going to the beach, or a museum, or a concert, or a bar, or just sitting at home watching TV or reading. I played jazz for 7 years and I really enjoy listing to live music (as long as it's not too loud for me to talk to the person beside me). I have found lately that I like being outside. I'm a big fan of canoeing or kayaking or anything that allows me to get away from civilization for a while and just experience Florida the way it was meant to be. I should also probably mention that I'm an uber-geek who reads a lot and listens to NPR.
I do work in the religious field BUT that does not make me a crazy, religious fanatic who is out to convert the world- quite on the contrary. I believe that faith is something that individuals need to explore for themselves and find what makes them happy.
I love to go to dinner and a movie with friends or on a romantic date. I'm not big on dancing because, frankly, I have no rhythm. I am an advocate for social justice and believe at the end of the day we all have a responsibility to each other, as well as the planet. Ideally, I am looking for someone who is committed to my ideals of helping humanity and can tolerate my silly personality. She should be classy, caring and charming but not stuck up. In short, I would like the type of love that is in a country song. Yes, in most of them they are broken up, but just think of how great it must have been when they were together.
Basically, my life can be summed up in the words to what else, but a country song:
