I’m a southern girl at heart, but have lived all over the country including California, Washington, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. In college, I was a sorority girl with big dreams at a small southern private school. After I graduated, most of my friends stayed in South Carolina, but I decided to take a risk on a job in Virginia and moved here without knowing anyone. It was one of the hardest, yet most rewarding things I’ve ever done.
I’ve been in Virginia now almost 6 years and love it. I’ve moved up the ranks at the same company I started with and have a career I’m really proud of. I’ve made some great friends and have some family living here now. I also have a 4 year old chocolate lab named Milo. He’s pretty awesome.
I work in an office all day long, so I love to be outdoors whenever I can. Hiking is definitely a favorite, but now that spring is almost here (yay!) I’m also going to be pulling out my bike and thinking about some fun water activities like paddle boarding and kayaking.
