It's about what attracts people to one another. Commonalities? Sure. Differences? Obviously, hence the cliche` "opposites attract." Good to have some of each in a relationship in my humble opinion.
I am looking for someone that has some similar interests as I do, such as running, cycling, swimming, movies, dining, cooking, hiking, camping etc... But also, someone that can show me some things outside of my interests/passions. Art, museums, travel to places I usually don't frequent, foods I haven't tried or prepared, books, music, or to also look at things we may like, but in different ways.
More important than the interests are personality. I am a "silver lining" type or "we have lemons, so let's make vodka lemonade", er, I meant lemonade, how did the vodka get in there?! You know what I mean. Life is short, another overused cliche`, but really it is. Let's enjoy it.
Integrity is huge, so if you say you will do something or are a certain type of person, follow through and do or be what you say. I try and live by that credo.
So, there you have some of what I am looking for and a little about me. If you are interested in finding out more, that can be arranged through, yes, Match.com
Good Luck and thanks for passing by..
