I am a Brit that's lived in the US for 11 years. The first 10 years were on the East coast but my job has brought me to Cinci. I have enjoyed exploring a new city, trying restaurants and places to hang out. I am looking for someone that I can go back to some of my favorites with as well as discover some fun new places!
I love to be outdoors but am also quite at home being indoors on a rainy day. I like most outdoor activities, particularly walking my dog, hiking, camping, skiing and I like to curl up in front of a fire with a glass of wine and something to watch on TV that makes me laugh. I can be full of energy but I also like to relax. I can be an interesting mix of opposites! I like to watch football – both the real kind (soccer!) and American football. I enjoy warm English beer as well as cold American lager, I can cook a traditional roast dinner but also grill up something special on the BBQ! It's fun getting dressed up for a night out on the town but I will happily spend a week in the backcountry on a camping trip.
Friends, music and humor make me happy! I got to enjoy several concerts at Riverbend last summer and can’t wait to to get out there again this summer.
I have an active lifestyle and like to look good and stay in shape. I ran my first half marathon last year in the Flying Pig (I finished in 1:52) and plan to run again this year (I'm so pleased the weather is finally warming up as I finish my training program!). I am looking for someone who has drive and energy and isn’t a couch potato, someone who also exercises and has some 'get up and go' attitude!
I have an interesting job and career that keeps me busy but not to the point of obsession – I am definitely a ‘work to live’ kind of girl and not a ‘live to work’ type. I get to travel around a lot, both personal and business trips. I like to explore new States and National Parks as well as new countries in Latin America. I have been fortunate enough to travel around the world but there's always more to see and I would love to see it with someone special.
Who am I looking for? A guy who would describe himself as an extrovert and who is confident in any situation, someone who likes to meet new people and can hold an entertaining conversation.
