Just home from 3 weeks motorbiking and backpacking through northern Thailand and southern Laos - floating down the Mekong at sunset on an inner tube on the Cambodian border; being served squirrel for dinner at the raised, stilted tribal home of a new Thai friend; trekking to the top of a 1000' waterfall while pulling myself up by the roots of the trees. Those are some of the things that feed me.
I am happiest playing outdoors in nature either alone or with friends, and you can find me hiking or running in the local hills, especially when the creeks are full, several times a week. Whether trekking in Nepal or cycling for a month in New Zealand with my best friend, volunteering in remote villages of Guatemala or backcountry camping in the beautiful Sierra's, life to me is an adventure. I am passionate about my journey and enjoy exploring new cultures and learning about people. I am committed to environmental and social consciousness, but not in the extreme. I love laughing and being silly, sharing with friends, finding the joy in life, listening to great music (especially live), dancing (till i can't move anymore) , cooking and eating healthy food, relaxing with a great book or dvd, my children, my work, sailing, deep connections and just enjoying life. Semi reformed law breaker at heart.
