I moved here from Santa Barbara to study speech pathology at CU Boulder in August '11, and earned my certification as a speech-language pathology assistant in Dec. '12. I'm loving CO. It was easier to make the move having 3 close college friends in Denver.
I'm attracted to a great sense of humor. Life is so much more enjoyable with comedy and being able to laugh easily! (btw, I can quote almost every line from Dumb and Dumber :) ). I enjoy having serious, deep conversations, too. I love being social and going to events or out on the town, as well as quiet evenings at home.
My faith is very important to me; Jesus is my Savior and my Rock. I'm very thankful for all that God has blessed me with and how He has guided me in life - He is good! I value being involved in a church community. I am looking for a guy who also loves God, who has a generous, sensitive heart, is outgoing, fun, confident, easygoing, and has a good sense of humor. One who has a desire to seek God and His will.
I'm not a fan of drama. I value honesty, integrity, and mutual respect. None of us are perfect, and I'm looking for a man who has humility in regards to that fact, a man who will do the pursuing and exhibit confidence and leadership.
I love animals (cats and dogs), and have a cat, so hopefully you also enjoy animals. I look forward to having a dog one day.
I enjoy being active and love to travel; I've been blessed to have traveled through Europe, Asia, South Africa, and Guatemala. I lived in China for a year to teach English after college and had a great time. I'd love to get back to South Africa one day, as well as several countries in Europe -- Italy was my favorite. I'd also like to go to New Zealand and Australia. I love adventure and learning about other cultures.
