*Have lived in LA for over 15 years and am not planning on leaving any time soon. Have traveled extensively around the country and this place - and Southern California - is the best.
*Was raised in suburban chicago in family of 5 kids. Mom and dad were wonderfull and all that stuff. They - like any parents - werent without their faults at times (we as kids most definetely werent without ours either) but they put us all through private schools, etc and gave us great vacations and wonderful country club. Most importantly they taught us proper values, manners, generosity and giving back.
*While I do have strong values and character and all that, I guess its fair to say that I might have pushed the envelope a bit for entertainment purposes in the past. I once basicallly stole a taxi for a little joyride at 7am in the morning in Lincoln Park Chicago after a night on the town............Not entirely proud of everything I did but no one was ever really hurt and i have an abundance of memories today.
*Like most everyone on here I love to travel and have had a variety of great experiences.....If I had pictures I would put it up but I dont so I guess I will highlight a couple things..... Front row at bullfight in Barcelona when the 3 best matadors in Spain were in town and fightingfor in a huge event. Almost puked as I was incredibly hung over. Sorry. catching a shark in the Bahamas, work dinner on a little litte boat on the Senne in Paris (have been there a handful of times and its tough to not embrace that city), accidentely locking my friend out of our other friends apartment in Kensington, London (he had to sleep in car of some random mom/daughter tandem who drove him home from nightclub/bar - he was not happy with me), having a body guard drive and shadow my friend and i when out on the town in Rio for a couple of days (the safety concerns were totally overblown and i dont know what it necessarily says about me but it was entertaining none the less to have this guy follow us), getting mauled by George W Bush's neice in a NYC bar (well aware that that is totally and completey tacky to write but it was my first time there and it came minutes after my friends who lived there were preaching about the greatness of New York, expect the the unexpected, blah blah) Safari and walking by a lioness in our camp in the morning, renting a boat in Sausalito (not exactly an exotic locale for us) and trying to land on Alcatraz, dinner every night at 1am in Buenos Aires, Final Four in New Orleans (where it should be every year), getting asked to leave the Nelson Mandela suite a day early at the Saxon Hotel in Johannesburg because uh Nelson Mandela was coming to town for a funeral and wanted the room (they kinda like him over there), Almost hitting hole in one on a green that is supposedly the only natural island hole in North America on a course in Punta Mita Mexico.....Looking to build on my travel experiences this summer with trips planned to Sonoma, Del Mar, Las Vegas, Maui, Cabo, NYC, and hoping to put a Singapore/Shanghai trip together. Its so gay writing about all this.
*I would like to have children and a family but it is not totally and completely the "be all end all " if it was not possible with someone I still had great chemistry with. However, if it did happen - parenting - and marriage for that matter - would be the be all end all.
