I enjoy many different things, from sailing to riding horses. If you like horses, that is a definate plus, but not a necessity. Having interests in common is important, but having your own interests helps keep things in perspective.
I love to cook, garden, bike, go the the movies, out to eat or just a movie in and ordering pizza. I have lived in many different places, from St. Thomas to NYC and Los Angeles to Las Vegas-sort a gypsy at heart, I guess. I love to travel-The Islands, Italy and France are favorites so far but I am open to new contenders.
I am interested in meeting someone who is serious, but not above watching cartoons on a Saturday morning. A slightly off-center sense of humor is a must these days. I think that I have a lot of life experience to share and am interested in learning new things from other people. I am easy to entertain, don't need alot of goings-on to keep me occupied, but that doesn't mean I don't like some thrills and adventure in my life.
I am at the point in my life where I would like to be the object of someone's affection and to return the favor in kind. I am not interested in ego-maniacs, anyone too self absorbed, or anyone not willing to take a chance, have fun and see where things lead. I am certainly not perfect and don't expect perfection, but do expect honesty. I am busy and don't have alot of time to spend with friends, but want the time I do devote to be worthwhile and relaxed, regardless of the activity.
I would like to meet someone who is sincere, who is honest and likes to laugh and is pretty darn cute!. There must be someone out there who is intelligent, well-spoken and cultured but who tempers that with a relaxed nature and sense of adventure. Being able to be spontaneous but also able to make plans and follow through is important.
Common interests are definitely a plus, but also having different interests so you can learn new things from one another would be nice. Being book-literate, aware of what is going on in the world, not just what is going on in "your" world is important. Be willing to try new things, dress up once in a while and have a "real date" out and always have a sense of humor about the silly things that happen in everyday life.
I will admit to being very selective, but then I am looking for that "perfect for only me" man. And I would definitely consider relocating for the right man!
