I'll admit it--I've been avoiding online dating for some time now. Generally speaking, my attitude in life is to go after what I want, albeit in a way that is soft-spoken and subtle. For the past year, I've applied that to work and parenthood--fostering my first child, and coordinating children's services at a domestic violence shelter. But my attitude toward relationships has been decidedly hands off. I would love to start spending time with someone who has similar passions and goals, is curious about life, and is open to the possibility of a long term relationship. Plus, you may get to hang out with the cutest toddler in town.
