I was born and raised in London but moved to NYC over a year ago, where I am currently studying for a PhD in School Psychology. I have not regretted my decision to move once, and am fully enjoying what the city has to offer. In my spare time I enjoy socializing with friends, exploring the city, watching sports and going to concerts. I’ve particularly enjoyed learning about American sports, and I regularly meet with friends to watch basketball and hockey. I am fortunate enough to have a supportive and caring network of friends and family, both here in the States and in the UK. My friends describe me as a caring, laid back, fun loving person with a good sense of humor. I have a great deal of ambition and am not afraid to work hard to achieve my goals. As I am not a native New Yorker, I enjoy networking and meeting new people. I strive to balance my working schedule with my social lifestyle where possible – what’s the point in working hard if you can’t play hard – so while I often plan ahead to achieve this, there are times when I can be spontaneous also. My passions include participating in fundraising events (for example I have completed 5K runs and been sky diving) and traveling. My guilty pleasure would have to be (mindless) reality TV! I am looking for someone who is down to earth, ambitious, with a humorous side who is also sociable and likes to have fun.
