My name is Samantha; I am currently a full-time student at Weber State University, studying to be an English and Health teacher. I have only a few semesters left until I will finish. Many people consider me a shy individual, but I like to think of myself as someone who takes it all in before I put myself out there. As I have become more confident in myself that shyness does not seem to be an issue as much as it was before.
I love to laugh, read, and write short stories and poetry. I also enjoy crafts—sewing, card making, scrapbooking, etc…. I have allowed school and work to take over my life and I am starting to realize that I have missed out on a lot of things. I am looking for someone who is willing to help me break out of this rut I have created for myself and help me experience some fun.
I believe in honesty and therefore I will be straight with you….I do not have dating experience. I made a decision a long time ago that I was not going to date until I was at a certain point in my life. I was afraid if I dated I would end up getting married young. I am such a goal oriented person that I viewed dating and marriage as something that was going to hold me back. I am still that goal oriented person; however, I have become a stronger person. I am strong and independant and while I am happy being by myself, I don't want to be. I want someone to share life with me--someone who will travel with me, who will introduce me to new things, who will be there for me and I for him.
I am looking for someone who wants to get to know another person. I am a girl that does not need to be impressed or shown off to. If you are simply yourself I will like you more. I need someone who can handle a girl who knows who she is and what she wants in life. I also need someone who is as strong willed as I am and will fight for what they want in life. I want someone who betters me and I him. I want my best friend!
