I recently moved down to south Florida from central NY for a teaching position. As you get older, it's harder to meet people and my job has kept me pretty busy thus far.
I'm a laid back kind of guy that loves to stay active and try new things. I have a passion for sports (soccer primarily), but would love to have someone show me other great hobbies.
I can hold a conversation with pretty much anyone, and get along with most people. I try to smile and stay positive as much as I can and I want someone who is the same way. I know when to be serious and when it's okay to goof around and I think it's important not to take everything so serious.
The woman I'm looking for has to have a good sense of humor, someone I can have a conversation with about anything and everything and someone who can leave work at work. I want a woman who will get into the things I'm passionate about as I am willing to get involved with hers.
Honesty, integrity, loyalty, and communication are the most important character traits in a relationship. I need someone who has these traits. I know that my profile says I'm divorced; well that is true and I didn't want to put single and try and hide the fact that I've been married before. I got married kind of young, my ex-wife was even younger and it just didn't work out. I feel like I've learned and grew a lot from that experience. Just thought I would share this.
I've been out of the dating scene for awhile while in grad school but now that I have my career in line, I'm ready to find someone and see if it might go somewhere.
