I'm looking for one person to spend the next 30 years with....most importantly, who feels totally comfortable to be with, is someone who is easy to talk to, and time flies by when we are together...
I love working, playing, and vacationing, not necessarily in that order. I have a high priority on fitness/health - not to impose that on my partner, just to make you aware of it.........and try to do something active just about everyday: road/mt. biking, running, golf, roller blading, snow/water ski, and photography (see scenery/food photos, I really enjoy capturing special places and moments, not that into taking staged/posed pictures of people) since I'm usually the one with the camera I don't have many photos with me in them.....). I have traveled quite a bit, (according to my friends) throughout the US and California.
I'm close to many very old friends and my family, and visit them often. My last visit we celebrated my Dad's 80th birthday (photo), my Mom and Dad are still together after over 50 years, both very healthy, both still playing with a "full deck of cards", and my greatest role models. One of my best friends from high school owns a "candy factory" and every year or two I head back for a visit and make carmel apples and a lots of hand made candies...(see photos) when you just make them - they taste amazing!!!
I'm very interested in food and wine and have devoted a fair amount of time the last few years learning about (and enjoying) both. I've got very diverse friends, from ski bums in Tahoe to winery owners in Napa so my social activities range from BBQs overlooking the lake to formal wine event dinners, once a year for a formal dinner, every weekend for jeans and bbqs......
I'm looking for someone who is fit, fun, and flexible. Someone who enjoys quality over quantity in life and food/wine, and is interested in health. Smokers and sedentary people usually don't work. I'm looking forward to developing a relationship with someone who is honest, down to earth, and can be comfortable in many different types of social situations.
