I am looking for someone who is just as comfortable in a hardware store as at the mall. Someone with some “life experience” and the character and morals that go along with having had those experiences. I want someone who takes care of herself and is fit; someone who is just as gorgeous with no makeup, in a t-shirt and jeans as she is all dolled up. A lady who is willing to try new things and go to different places, but is also just as content to hang out close to the house.
I want her to be intelligent. I want her to challenge how I think about things. To know more about different things than I do. I have no problem with not being the smartest guy in the room, so to speak.
And now, about me, in no particular order:
-- My hobbies are archery, outdoor sports and cycling. Want to learn how to fly fish and take good photographs.
-- One of the last books I read was “Three Cups of Tea.”
-- I am more of a listener and observer than a talker. I’ll admit to being a bit of an introvert but can still hold up my end of a conversation.
-- I drive a pickup truck, wear jeans and cowboy boots, but not a real big fan of country music.
-- The pre-sets on the satellite radio in my truck include Radio Classics, The Pearl Jam Station, 90’s Music, 80’s Music, Classic Rock, Doctor Radio, and ESPN to name a few. I also listen to the Patriot Channel and to Celtic Crush.
-- I think looks do matter. We are all attracted to different sorts of people. It’s that whole beauty-is-in-the-eye-of-the beholder thing and how our brains are wired. And having said that, inner beauty is important as well as physical beauty.
-- I have three children who live in the Midwest. I go see them as often as I can, which is never often enough.
