I am driven, independent, and intellectual. If any of those things intimidate you, I'm probably not the girl for you.
Where to begin? I am a college graduate, currently working on my masters. I just started my career as a high school teacher. I absolutely love teaching. Really, it is more about helping the students than anything. Making a difference in their lives is truly why I am here. After my masters I plan to pursue a PhD. I am very goal oriented and I want someone who has goals of their own. I know there is always something bigger out there I can be doing; some other difference I can make in this world.
That being said, I love to travel. If I could make my living visiting places all over the world and make a difference on my journey, that would be my dream. I haven't traveled much internationally, but I plan to travel more soon. I have a desire to become more cultured. I want to submerge myself in a variety of cultures to become more aware of the ways of the world. I feel like the more cultured I am, the more sophisticated I will become.
I am a very active person. When I can't travel to distant places, I like to explore the area around me. I am usually found doing something outdoors: snowboarding, four-wheeling, fishing, spending time on the lake, or hiking. I am very diverse. I am a very curious person so I like to learn how to do a little bit of everything. I go to the gym 3-5 times a week, depending on my schedule. It's important for me to remain healthy with an active lifestyle and I truly would like that in a partner as well.
Family is very important to me, of course who would say it wasn't? I have been very blessed to have such an amazing, supportive family. I am very close with a lot of my family and I hope to have a family of my own one day.
I love to laugh, but I suppose everyone says that too. I love people with good personalities who know how to let loose and have fun. Smiling never hurt anyone! I love a guy with a good personality. I love to joke around and I have pretty thick skin, so if you're going to dish it, you better be able to take it. ;)
I love cars. Especially old cars. I have what my friends call "a small fleet." It's kind of my thing. That, and I love to ride motorcycles.
What I want in a guy: someone honest and respectful would be two main things. I need someone who can communicate. I don't like gray area so I am pretty straight forward in wanting to know what a guy is thinking. I want someone who likes to laugh, even at the smallest things. I really just want someone I can be myself around and who understands the value of give and take. I work really hard to make my other half happy and I expect the same in return.
