I am an open-minded young woman, I take people as they are. You can learn something from everyone. I am practical, opinionated though non-judgemental, and enjoy intelligent conversation. The best complements I've ever received were to be described as eclectic, having a lot of integrity and being bad ass. Lately I've been spending all my time coaching rowing. I rowed in high school and in college. I am looking for a responsible guy who is a good communicator, open to new things, and is looking for a woman who is his equal. I don't care much about looks, but being passionate about your goals is important. Humility is attractive. I am looking for someone who leads an interesting life and has lots to say about it. Having tact is necessary. So is being adaptable to fast paced city life. Deal-breakers: I do not date drug users or guys with kids.
I have a law enforcement career background, and am in a transitory stage in my life. For my job I basically hire and train lifeguards as well as spend a lot of time teaching American Red Cross classes. I am in downtown Cleveland almost every morning, and like to go out and enjoy the local night life occasionally. I am also looking for a relationship, no flings, affairs or one-night stands.
I guess I am on here because I work all the time, and have little free time. However I like making plans, and am pretty good at making time for the people I care about. I have never liked the concept of online dating, its sort of awkward but I'm willing to give it a shot.
Random facts about me: I lived in Hawaii on Oahu for 4 months. I've had about 16 part-time jobs while in school, so I'm no stranger to simple and humble work. I'm the oldest of six kids. I studied Psychology and Criminal Justice, and spent some time tutoring female inmates for their GED. I love water...waterskiing, wakeboarding, stand up paddling, lifeguarding, laying out in the sun, swimming laps, driving a launch boat up and down the Cuyahoga, rowing, kayaking, and surfing. I have little patience for materialism and consider myself socially liberal while fiscally conservative. Flaws: I sometimes talk to much, am working on getting back into shape, and have almost no fashion sense. I also dye my hair about once a month to switch things up. Currently blonde.
