I woke up early Saturday morning, had a coffee, caught up on the morning news, and then put on my new running shoes. Headed out the door and five minutes later was running on the beach. The weather was absolutely perfect and I could not ask for anything more. I do this every Saturday morning. It’s my passion!
I feel blessed to live in such a great place surrounded by good friends, a close family, and so many outdoor activities. The choices here seem endless. The possibilities are limitless.
My friends describe me as calm and quietly confident. I will agree. I can have my moments but I don’t always need to be in the lime light. I prefer the candle light having a perfect conversation with someone special.
We never get our time back and for the past several years I have not had much it. A full time career in technology sales while going through grad school has consumed a ton of time and energy. Luckily, I have a high threshold for pain, do not require much sleep, and love the mental challenge. Three months from now I will graduate. Yes, I am starting to get a little nervous. What will I do with myself with all of the extra time to enjoy?
Well, I do have two solutions:
I am getting a new lab pup in a two weeks. I absolutely love dogs and can’t wait to bring him home. Still thinking about what to name him, “Steve” and “Sam” keep topping the list. Between the new lab and my two cats I doubt I will have any surplus energy problems.
I also want to travel to Europe. I went to Sweden many years ago with a friend and loved it so much I promised to return. In fact, I already purchased the tickets just need to set the date. Who wants to go?
You should see by now that I’m stimulated by new experiences and I am interested in meeting someone who desires excitement, adventure, and passion in their life. Be warned, you will need a ton of endurance and stamina to keep up with me. But I think you can do it. If you are up to the challenge and think you have what it takes I would definitely be interest getting to know you better.
