I just moved back from Dallas. Missing Texas already, but happy to be home.
I am passionate about living a life of purpose and fulfillment, and improving myself spiritually, emotionally, physically, or through professional accomplishments. I hold family in very high regard, and hope to one day become a good husband and dad.
Other than my parents, my grandfather was most influential in my life. He loved kids. Always the life of the party, he touched so many lives in a positive, uplifting way. He taught me that chivalry is not dead, don’t break promises, a man’s strength is not just in his muscle, and most of all…to live a life of compassion and integrity—traits that seemed to come naturally for him.
I am thankful for my physical health and good nature--both have a way of smoothing out the rough spots in life!

I’m looking for someone who doesn’t sweat the small stuff, delights in being open and giving; has a positive self-image, and a confidence about her. Anything worth having in life takes work. I believe that with communication and dedication—happily ever after still exists!
If we meet, right away I think you'll notice my smile, attentive eyes, and that I ask questions and openly listen. My mother taught me to "be where you are when you're there, and do what you're doing while you're doing it." I think she means to "be present" it's not TV y'all!
I've been told that it's a challenge to read me at first, and that there are many surprises along the way! I don't put everything out there on the surface on the first date (not gonna show you the rockstar til there's some level of trust yo!) Besides, it's more rewarding for me when someone takes the time and interest to dig deeper.
At Christmastime, I dress up like an elf and play the sax in a Holiday Jazz Band to help raise money for Schreiner's Hospital. I am a huge Elvis fan and recently visited Graceland! I like to try different restaurants, go out on the town, or just grill out, build a fire and spend relaxing evenings at home on the couch with a movie.
Favorite books: As A Man Thinketh, Thrive Diet, The True Cost of Everything, Wild at Heart, many a biography on Historical Figures/Leaders, The 48 Laws of Power, The 50th Law, Art of Seduction, The Articulate Executive, Selling the Invisible, The Art of Personal Prayer, Think and Grow Rich, I like Interior Decor mags, health and diet books, Twilight...just kidding never read it =)
I have recently discovered that my profile states my age as 32. I'm 36. All pics are recent as of last summer/fall...the one with the jacket over my shoulder was at the MJ Tribute Band Concert at the Newport on 4/2/11.
