Let me get this out of the way. I'm the father to two of the most awesome young boys on earth. I'm very proud to be their Dad. Their mom and I are in process of divorce, and we're staying great friends. If any of that's "baggage"...I'll carry it any day. Sorry, not posting status as separated since that implies it might be temporary.
I think dating has an element of process of elimination to it. I probably just eliminated 98% of visitors to my profile by being upfront. I'm on the right track :) Welcome to the 2% that made it this far.
I love my life. I'm able to see the great in the bad. And the amazing in the good. I'm fortunate to work in my passion and have an amazing career that's become quite diverse. Balance in life is what's most important though. When I'm not slacking off in a sports bar with friends watching a game, I'm actually a health nut...so I'm typically running, mountain biking, or hiking. I'm also Vegan, so other than the health benefits of my diet, animals think I'm pretty cool, too. I can be very witty and quite gifted with the sarcasm. If you can dish it back, bonus points. That's right. Guys can give points, too. I'm driven to live a life of variety. I'm a perpetual student of the world. I'm always curious and want to learn. Don't ever go shopping with me. I have a bad habit of Googling and reading up on products while at the store. We may be there for a while. I crave traveling, and have a thing for airports and planes. Just for a week, I'd like to be the guy that flags the planes into the gate.
I'm patient and in no rush to find the right one for me. If it happens, and happens here...then awesome! I'm also not on here to just hook-up. I'm attracted to women that are intelligent first and foremost. Someone striving to make a difference in the world, in their own way. Has goals and is driven to achieve them. Embraces lifes hurdles with courage. I'm a sucker for a sarcastic smart-a-s-s, but, she has to be gentle, caring, and thoughtful, too. She'll put up with my sports habit or join in on the fun. She loves to plan, but gets excited by spontaneity. She encourages me, and is there to catch me when I fall. She'll kick my a-s-s on a hike, and mock me all the way home, then fix me an amazing lunch for being a good sport about it. She doesn't mind rockin' a pair of chucks and ray-bans on a Sunday. She'll find my alt rock music obsession cute. Appreciates family. Adores children. And loves her life.
P.s. if you're in your 40plus , I'm not interested at this time. That could change though in about 6 yrs. :)
