I am passionate about continued spiritual & personal growth. I have been through some difficult hardships but those experiences have made me appreciate each day as a gift. I believe you should always treat others as you expect to be treated. I like to travel and explore new places. Given a choice between purchasing a new “material item or toy”, I would much rather enrich my life by a new experience. You cannot take the toys with you but the experiences are yours forever. My bucket list is pretty darned long and my hope is my kids are successful enough so I have no guilty feelings about spending their inheritances. I have a big inquisitive streak that’s hard to quench. Travel to New Zealand, Patagonia, the Amazon River basin the Canadian Rockies or Alaska are thoughts that come to mind. While I like tropical places like Costa Rica and Hawaii and would definitely go back to each, I typically like the mountains more than the shore although I could probably be talked in to going to Tahiti. It would be great to have a partner who also has a passion to explore and see what’s around the next corner.
My ideal partner would be someone who is comfortable with who they are but wants to continue to grow emotionally/spiritually and likes to be challenged (in a healthy/positive way and obviously challenges me as well). Kindness to others, openness, honesty and a commitment to a loving/caring relationship are very important to me. I am a very honest and open person who values someone who has no difficulties with sharing their feelings, Contrary to popular belief; men are not mind readers so a willingness to reasonably express your desires/needs will typically get you the keys to the kingdom. I will do likewise in a loving manner.
I am an upbeat person and view life’s difficulties as opportunities for growth, thus while we all have off days I have a difficult time being around those who continually focus on the bumps in the road that we all face. I try my best to treat others how I would like to be treated and have a genuine care/concern for people and am mindful and respectful in how I interact with others.
Family is very important to me and I am blessed to have 2 children from my first marriage and a stepson from my second who have brought tremendous joy in to my life. My kids rock so if yours are the focal point in your life I understand but they all move out (I hope) and suddenly you have the rest of your life to act like a kid yourself (stomping through puddles, a walk in a downpour or zip lining come to mind). While I don't envision "having" more children, welcoming additional children in to my life would be a bonus.
While we are all aware of not wanting to appear to be shallow, chemistry and appearance are important, so photos are essential. While winks are flattering, an email will always get a response.
