I'm not a salesman by nature. So, this intro will be just ~super awesome~ (sarcasm!). I'm easy going with a sense of humor that ranges from dorky to dirty. I enjoy nights in just as much as a night out on the town.
I'm a geek and would meet someone to share my geek life for the long term. I'm looking for someone I can share my life, hobbies, and passions with. Someone that would be as comfortable taking a cruise up PCH (or through the mountains) with me as they would be staying home and cooking dinner together...
I do like cooking, especially if there's a fire involved. However, I'm just as comfortable with a stove and oven as I am with a charcoal grill and smoker. There's nothing better than learning to cook a new dish and having it turn out better than expected. One of my recent successes was teaching myself to make risotto.
Did I mention I like driving? Probably, but just in case you missed it, I like driving. I like driving so much that I took a 1 month "road-trip" vacation in June 2012. I drove from Los Angeles to Tampa Bay FL and back. 2 weeks of this vacation was spent visiting family, but the remainder was spent driving across the US. On the route back, I stopped at many National Parks and Monuments in Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, and Arizona. There are a lot of really cool historical stuff both natural and man made in those states. During this vacation, I discovered I really enjoy taking pictures.
Also, I use to smoke. I quit smoking in June 2011. So, it's now over a year since I last had a cigarette. While my profile says "no way" in regards to smoking, I do not think it is a fair assessment towards my view on smoking. I'm to the point that I can be around smokers and it not bother me nor does it cause me to crave the nicotine.
Since I quit smoking, I gained a fair amount of weight. I've been working to loose that weight since the start of this year. So far, I've dropped 25 of the extra pounds, and have another 15 to loose to get back to the weight I was in my pictures with the black shirt. In the Christmas party photo, I was at my heaviest.
