CURLS GONE WILD!!
I'm finally ready to start dating again after my broken heart! My man left me this past winter and moved to Denver. He also changed his favorite animal from a Colt to a Bronco. Maybe you are the one to help me regain my confidence and get me past this painful period in my life!
I am a mother, daughter, sister, friend, confidante, survivor, tough, gentle, caring, outgoing, fun, sarcastic, quiet, shy, loyal, kind, trusting, bold, fearless, fearful, champion of the underdog, runner, direct, did I say sarcastic??? I have many traits and I'm always growing and developing. I love going out and I love staying home. I like to be out with people, laughing and having fun and I enjoy being alone. I love my job and sometimes, I can't stand it. I am not schizophrenic (well, most of the time anyway), I promise! I believe that we are all many things and have many layers.
I enjoy doing many different activities and am usually ready to try something new (notice the usually!) I tend to be friendly and outgoing and like most people. Being physically and mentally fit is important to me. I finished my first mini marathon this year and have become a bit addicted to running. I would like to try cycling also.
I am not looking for a 'sugar daddy' or for someone to support me. I have a good job and am a home-owner. I want a partner, a best friend and a lover. I still believe in soul-mates. I think holding hands is romantic and so are quick glances and smiles across the room. I am not high maintenance, but I do like being treated like a lady. I am not a stalker and I'm old school when it comes to dating. I am a normal woman looking for a normal man.
I have an adult daughter who lives across the country and I'm also a pet owner (dog and cat). I enjoy working in my yard (sometimes.....), working on my house, movies - at the theater or at home. I enoy traveling and have to been to 40 countries and 5 continents. I would like to see all 50 states before I die.
I am an almost 2 year cancer survivor and I'm a very lucky girl! I have so much in my life for which I am thankful. I'm an optimist and do not like to be around Debbie or Don Downer.
I volunteer as much as possible with under privileged families and children. It helps me to keep centered and focus on what is important in life. They give so much to me.
